En Route’s Nasreen Mussaji raises £3,000 with London Marathon run
En Route’s Technical Manager Nasreen Mussaji, who ran her first marathon on Sunday April 26, earned a handsome contribution for Save the Children.
Not only did she complete the challenge with the outstanding time of 05:36:09, she also exceeded her fundraising goal by notching up more than £3,000 for the charity.
“Those of us who know Naz well, will appreciate that she loves her sleep, hates the rain and usually eats anything she fancies, so the training was particularly tough for her,” said a release from En Route.
“The preparation involved early morning gym sessions, road running regardless of the weather, and watching what I eat,” she says. “But it was all for a good cause!”
Well done from this side of the pond too, Naz. We share En Route’s hope that your determination will inspire more to sign up for the next sporting challenge, which is a triathlon. Grab your training gear, everyone!
